Matthew White

Founder

“I’m an absolute nerd for culture and human behavior, which is why I focus so much on story and communication in my approach to branding and design.

People don’t purchase products and services—they purchase beliefs.

People purchase products and services they believe will help them solve problems, gain status, improve their wellbeing, and uplift their self-image. When we feel satisfied with a purchase, it’s because it affirms our deeply-held beliefs about ourselves, friends, neighbors, communities, and cultures.

We crave connection with people and businesses that “get us”—and business that “get” their customers perform better and last longer than those that don’t.

Good branding, business, and design comes from the time we take to understand what really gets customers in the door and coming back for more.

I have 8+ years of graphic design and communications experience with Penn State, plus a B.A. in Religious Studies and an M.A. in American Studies. Like I said, total nerd.”
